‘Skate Nepal’ is an article featured in Hang up skate Magazine Vol 1, 2019 which is a combination of culture, skateboarding and lifestyle photography through the lens of Samu Karvonen during an 18-day road trip in Nepal In November of 2018. The photography accompanies an interview with Skate Nepal co-founder Daryl Dominguez on the origins and development of the non-profit organisation.

Hailing from Finland, Samu is a professional skateboarder for the ever-nomadic French skateboard company Antiz, as well as one of the founding fathers of the magnificent Helsinki Helride event. Samu’s keen interest in skate photography has had his work regularly featured in Finnish skate magazine Hang Up amongst other pan-European based publications.
